Der öffentliche Personennahverkehr der Stadt Zwickau wird von der Städtische Verkehrsbetriebe Zwickau GmbH (SVZ GmbH) realisiert und erfolgt mit zwei Straßenbahn- und dreizehn Omnibuslinien. Im Jahr 2026 plant die SVZ GmbH die Modernisierung des Knoten Neumarkt auf der Leipziger Straße ab Moritzstraße bis Dr.-Friedrichs-Ring und der Bosetraße von der Römerstraße bis Max- Pechstein-Straße auf einer Länge von ca. 1300 m durchzuführen. Im Rahmen eines offenen Verfahrens beabsichtigt die SVZ GmbH die Beschaffung von 18 St. Weichen, 18 Stück Kreuzugen, Schienen und Zubehör. Zum Lieferumfang gehört die Lieferung von Gleisbaumaterial frei Baustelle für Straßenbahngleisanlage 1000 mm Spurweite bestehend aus: - von 18 St. werksneuen Weichen inkl. Unterschwellung (davon 6 St. als Folgeweichen), - 18 St. werkneuen Kreuzungen inkl. Unterschwellung (davon 6 St. verschachtelt), - ca. 1970 m Rillenschienen 60 R2 (gerade und gebogen), - 23 St. Entwässerungskasten (Spurkasten für Spur 1.000 mm), - 10 St. Schienenkasten (Entwässerungskasten), - 4 St. Gleisverbinder (110 mm²) und 8 St. Schienenverbinder (110 mm²).
