Der öffentliche Personennahverkehr der Stadt Zwickau wird von der Städtische Verkehrsbetriebe Zwickau GmbH (SVZ GmbH) realisiert und erfolgt mit zwei Straßenbahn- und dreizehn Omnibuslinien. Im Rahmen der Komplexmaßnahme "Umgestaltung Bahnhofsvorplatz, Innenstadttangente und Querspange Straßenbahn" in Zwickau (GVFG 09) - Teilprojekt Bahnhofsvorplatz beabsichtigt die SVZ GmbH die Beschaffung von Schienen und Weichen. Zum Lieferumfang gehört die Lieferung von Gleisbaumaterial frei Baustelle für Straßenbahngleisanlage 1000 mm Spurweite bestehend aus: - 2 St. werksneuen Weichen inkl. Unterschwellung, Schienenkammerelementen vormontiert sowie Stellvorrichtungen und Erdkästen entsprechend LV, - ca. 895 m Rillenschienen 60 R2 (gerade und gebogen), - ca. 226 m Vignolschienen 49E1 (gerade und gebogen), - 2 St. Spurrillenschienen für 49, passend zur 49E1 und - 10 St. Übergangsschienen 49E1 / 60 R2.
