Terms of service

These terms govern your use of justskim.ai (the “site”). The Skim product itself is provided under a separate master services agreement signed with each customer; nothing on this site constitutes that agreement or any offer to contract.

1. Who we are

The site is operated by Skim AI Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15721840, with registered office at Allingham Court, 44 The Bishops Avenue, London, England, N2 0BA. You can reach us at justin@justskim.ai.

2. Acceptable use

By using the site you agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its servers, or any connected system.
• Use automated systems to scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract data beyond what a normal browser would.
• Introduce malware, viruses, or any code intended to disrupt the site.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the site beyond what UK law expressly permits.

3. Intellectual property

All content on the site — copy, design, logos, code, screenshots, illustrations — is owned by Skim AI Limited or its licensors and is protected by UK and international intellectual property law. The Skim name and logo are trade marks of Skim AI Limited. You may view the site for personal or internal business research; you may not reproduce, redistribute, or build derivative works without our prior written consent.

4. No advice, no warranty

Information on the site is provided in good faith but for general purposes only. It does not constitute legal, commercial, or procurement advice. The site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

5. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to the above, Skim AI Limited will not be liable in contract, tort (including negligence), under statute, or otherwise for any indirect, special, or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill, or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the site. Our total aggregate liability arising out of the site (excluding the matters reserved above) is limited to £100.

6. Third-party links and embeds

The site links to or embeds third-party services (for example Calendly, used for demo bookings). Skim AI Limited is not responsible for those services or their content, and your use of them is governed by the third party’s own terms and privacy policies.

7. Changes

We may update these terms by posting a revised version here and updating the “last updated” date. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the revised terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
