Skim is not a replacement for a bid lead — it is the leverage layer underneath them. The agent sources opportunities across UK and EU portals, scores fit before they invest a day on a no-hoper, drafts first-pass responses against the buyer's marking scheme, and reviews drafts for the points that lose on quality. Your bid lead stops being a writer and starts being an editor with a 40-year veteran in the room.
How does Skim avoid generic, hallucinated AI bid responses?
Drafts are grounded in your own case studies, accreditations, methodologies and past wins — not a generic LLM guess. Every response is scored against the buyer's published evaluation criteria, and the Skim bid team reviews high-value drafts with you on the weekly call. The bar is a bid your reviewer would sign off, not a bid that looks plausible.
How does Skim handle our commercial data and bid content?
Your bid library, case studies and pipeline are scoped to your workspace. Skim does not train public models on your content, and contractual data-handling terms are reviewed at onboarding for Enterprise customers. Security-led onboarding, role-based permissions and audit trails are included on the Enterprise tier; SSO is available on request.
How quickly will Skim pay for itself?
