Overview
The ground investigation works are to be carried out at a proposed brownfield site known as Trinity Wharf in Wexford Town. The site was once a mixed use industrial estate which has since been abandoned, currently only accessible across a live railway line which requires collaboration with the railway provider (Irish Rail). these site investigations are additional locations from previously recorded GI- previous works are included in the background information of the tender pack. The proposed site is to be developed into a mixed-use urban quarter including a marina. The site is approximately 5.5 hectares in total, of which 4.5 hectares is land based and 1.0 hectares is marine based. This ground investigation contract will provide confirmation of ground conditions and geotechnical parameters for use in the ongoing project development.
