The Home Office awarded a £220,000 contract to City St George's, University of London on 31 May 2026 to conduct research on teenage relationship abuse involving systems mapping and analysis of existing data. The project aims to develop an evidence base and dataset to improve understanding, identification, recording, monitoring and response to teenage relationship abuse across statutory and non-statutory agencies including police, social care, education, health, and youth justice, ultimately informing policy and improving protection for affected young people.
