Overview
Haulage of dry mixed recycling, paper and card, garden waste, POP's and general waste.
Dry recycling is defined as materials such as aerosols, cans and tins, foil, plastic bottles, trays, tubs and pots, glass, and tetrapak.
Green waste is defined as material such as tree branches (small (no more than 9cm diameter), grass and leaves.
Paper and card is defined as paper, cardboard, newspapers, magazines, pamphlets, and post cards.
General waste comprises litter picking, fly tip litter, dog waste, wood for recycling, general waste skip and wood waste.
The contractor is expected to provide 40-yard skips under this contract.
Total Contract Value is based on an anticipated 8,510 loads across the contract including extension and all waste streams. The impact on the inclusion of glass and tetrapack on 1 Jun 26, on the number of loads is not known.
