Overview

East London Waste Authority has awarded a contract worth approximately £373 million to VEOLIA ES (UK) LIMITED for reception, haulage, reuse and recycling centre services. The contract covers waste transfer, operation of transfer stations and reuse and recycling centres across four sites, onward haulage of waste streams, circular economy hub operations, bring bank management, and waste education services. The initial 10-year 3-month term runs from 23 December 2027 to 31 March 2038, with an option to extend for up to five additional years.
