Overview

The Department for Environment Food & Rural Affairs has established a CBRN Remediation Services Framework to provide specialized chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and hazardous materials recovery services to support UK Government response and recovery from incidents exceeding local capabilities. Seven suppliers have been awarded under this framework as of 27 March 2026: Acumen Waste Services Limited, Adler & Allan Limited, Ambipar Response Limited, Amentum Clean Energy Limited, Ecolab Limited, McQuillan Envirocare Limited, and Nuvia Limited. The framework, valued at approximately £26 million, is now in delivery and provides advice, guidance, and practical remediation services to support government and local authorities in managing CBRN emergencies.
