Hope School Relocation Main Works

Wigan Council awarded Conlon Construction Limited a contract valued at £18,035,036.83 on 1 July 2026 for the main construction works to relocate Hope School and College, a SEND school serving the borough, to the Central Park Site in Wigan. The scope comprises three buildings totalling approximately 5,428m² of new and refurbished space, including primary and secondary classrooms, specialist facilities such as a hydrotherapy pool and resource rooms, administrative areas, and external works including car parking, playgrounds, and landscaping.
