Published
Published 9 June 2025

Overview

England has been part of the Health Behaviour in School-aged Children (HBSC) survey, a World Health Organisation survey of adolescents, for 20+ years along with around 44 other countries. This is a direct award action due to the contractor having exclusive rights to undertake the HBSC England study. The World Health Organisation (WHO) requires a formal assessment process for contractors, and the study teams are awarded exclusive rights after they meet the rigorous quality specifications. The University of Kent team has been approved by the WHO for the 2025-2028 round.
