Overview

NHS Supply Chain is establishing a 48-month Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) framework agreement for the supply of negative pressure pumps, consumables, and associated equipment used in acute trusts and community settings, with an estimated total value of approximately £113 million excluding VAT. The procurement is structured into two lots: Lot 1 covers NPWT pumps, rental, and pump accessories, while Lot 2 covers NPWT consumables, with both purchase and rental options available. Tenderers must meet specified compliance requirements including ISO certification, CE marking, modern slavery assessments, sustainability standards, and cyber security certifications where applicable.

Lots (2)

  • NPWT Pumps, Rental and Pump Accessories

This lot encompasses the provision of NPWT pumps and associated accessories intended to facilitate wound healing through the application of controlled sub-atmospheric pressure. NPWT is widely utilized to promote wound closure by secondary intention, effectively removing exudate and encouraging granulation tissue formation, which supports cell proliferation, migration, and angiogenesis. Additionally, NPWT may be employed to reduce the risk of surgical wound dehiscence in patients identified at risk.

    £62,226,649
  • NPWT Consumables

This Lot is for the consumables used in conjunction with negative pressure wound therapy pumps.
