Lots (5)

  • Automated External Defibrillators (AED) + AED with manual override

This category covers Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) defined as portable medical devices used to analyse cardiac rhythm and deliver defibrillation therapy to patients experiencing sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) providing clear visual and audible instructions that guide the user through each step of the process. The scope of this category includes fully automatic, semi-automatic and manual override AEDs supplied for use in hospital and public access environments

    £160,000,000
  • Defibrillator/Monitor for Hospital use

The device must be a portable defibrillator/monitor intended for use across acute hospital environments, including emergency departments, critical care, wards, and resuscitation teams. The system must combine manual defibrillation, automated external defibrillation (AED), and advanced physiological monitoring within a single integrated platform.

    £160,000,000
  • Monitor/Defibrillator for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) use

The device must be a robust, portable monitor/defibrillator designed for use in pre-hospital and emergency medical service (EMS) environments, including ambulance services, rapid response vehicles, air ambulances, and community resuscitation settings

    £160,000,000
  • Mechanical Chest Compression Devices and Associated Accessories

The primary function of devices within this Lot is to deliver consistent, high-quality chest compressions to patients in cardiac arrest, supporting circulation to vital organs where manual cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is impractical or insufficient. These devices are designed to provide uninterrupted compressions at controlled rate and depth, reducing variability associated with manual CPR and enabling sustained resuscitation efforts.

    £160,000,000
  • Defibrillation Consumables

This Lot includes defibrillation electrodes for automated external defibrillation (AED) and defibrillation pads for manual paddles. Defibrillation electrodes and pads are single-use devices used to deliver a controlled electrical shock from a defibrillator to a patient’s chest in order to restore a normal heart rhythm or manage arrhythmias. They typically consist of self-adhesive pads with conductive gel and connecting leads, designed for rapid application and use during resuscitation.
