Supply Chain Coordination Limited, through NHS Supply Chain, has established a framework agreement for needlefree connection systems and associated products across four lots: needlefree connectors/valves, extension sets, closed system transfer devices, and associated products. The contract, valued at £100 million and awarded on 28 July 2025, was granted to 19 suppliers including B. Braun Medical Limited, Baxter Healthcare Limited, Becton Dickinson U.K. Limited, and others. The framework is now in delivery and will serve NHS Trusts, other NHS entities, government bodies, and UK private-sector healthcare organizations, with anticipated first-year spend of approximately £25 million.
