Overview
Associated British Ports (ABP) is the UK’s largest port operator and manages a portfolio of estate and infrastructure including tenant operations. As part of this, utility metering of the estate is undertaken. The existing portfolio of meters to consider currently stands in excess of 2,500, of which 800 are covered by a MOP/DC agreement. The remainder are being considered for upgrade to a ‘SMART’ format to communicate with a number of management systems.The existing meter base covers electricity (both CoP and sub-meter type). Water is on the roadmap to install in the future.ABP is looking for both a supplier and partner to meet the needs associated with utility metering to provide services for data collection, site support and business intelligence outlined within the scope.Mandatory requirements:The Tenderer is member of the Association of Meter OperatorsAccredited and certified to the Balancing and Settlement Code Supplier {BSCCo) to undertake the respective activities.
