Overview
National Highways (NH) has committed to planting additional trees, over the course of three years, the initiative will contribute towards NH's Net Zero Highways Plan 2030. To count towards the target, these trees must be planted in 'addition' to any trees required as part of National Highways' environmental mitigation. To ensure the project's success, National Highways is looking to appoint an experienced service provider, ideally with previous experience of delivering similar projects to National Highways or other national infrastructure organisations to oversee the administration of the project in relation to the trees being planted outside National Highways' land.
