Lower Thames Crossing - Low Carbon Hydrogen

National Highways has awarded GeoPura Ltd a £32.6 million contract to supply, deliver, store and dispense low carbon hydrogen for the Lower Thames Crossing project, an 8-year agreement (with optional 2-year extension) designed to reduce diesel consumption across construction plant and machinery used by the project's delivery partners. The hydrogen supply will support the Lower Thames Crossing's carbon neutral construction objectives by enabling widespread use of hydrogen-powered equipment during the new road tunnel construction beneath the River Thames.
