T0690 Product Certification Implementation Phase 2

National Highways has awarded WSP UK LTD a contract worth £239,133.60 to implement Phase 2 of the Product Certification Implementation programme, building on Phase 1 findings completed in March 2025. The work involves developing and implementing improvements to National Highways' product certification and acceptance regime to address identified compliance gaps, align with emerging government construction products regulation (including the Construction Products Reform agenda), and strengthen assurance that products used on the network are safe and compliant. This phase will support updates to the Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works and ensure product certification schemes meet accredited standards and regulatory expectations.
