8378 - Qualification System for Ground Investigation Works

Iarnród Eireann-Irish Rail is establishing a four-year qualification system (extendable to six years) for ground investigation services across the Irish Rail Network, with an estimated value of €10 million. Selected service providers must be capable of delivering site investigations including boreholes, trial pitting, in-situ and laboratory testing, geophysical surveying, and groundwater monitoring, along with preparation of factual and interpretative reports by qualified chartered engineers and geologists. Successful candidates will be called off for individual projects as needed, with work often requiring night and weekend operations under track protection.
