TII488 Demolition Works - Nevinstown House
- Published
- Published 4 March 2026
Overview
This contract is to demolish Nevinstown House in Fostertown. The site consists of a single-story masonry bungalow with a cut timber roof, concrete roof tiles, a suspended timber floor and masonry site boundary walls. There have been numerous antisocial incidents at this site, with multiple fire brigade calls for arson attacks. The early demolition of this property is required as it currently represents a safety risk. Any future antisocial behaviour incident at this site may represent a programme constraint for the MetroLink project. It is therefore necessary to demolish the site and leave it as an undesired location for antisocial behaviour.
This was issued under the LGOPC’s Dynamic Purchasing System for Civil Engineering Works (Lot 4 - Civil Works with PSCS Appointment).
