Overview

The Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation has procured a heat flow microcalorimeter to measure heat development from chemical reactions at a constant temperature. The analytical instrument will be used in accordance with STANAG 4582 and STANAG 4147 to monitor heat generation from propellant powder and investigate the chemical compatibility of explosives.
