    Contract is the construction of 13 no. residential apartment units over 6 floors, 2 no. commercial / community units at ground floor, with bin store, bike store and circulation spaces across existing and new-build construction. 5 no. residential apartments will be housed at no. 33 Thomas Street (circa 320m2); a four floor over basement existing Georgian building. 8 no. residential apartments will be housed in the 5 storey new build at no. 34 Thomas Street (circa 1050m2). The works will include for conservation works to no. 33, forming new lightwells and basement woial rks, works to boundaries, demolition (including asbestos removal and disposal), new-build, including inset and projecting balconies, hard and soft landscaping and all associated works within a constricted city Centre site. Emergency stabilizing and demolition works have taken place at no. 33 and 34 and the successful contractor will be required to manage existing Temporary works designs, including but not limited to; hoarding designs, steel exoskeleton propping, temporary roof protection and temporary drainage. The anticipated project scope will require a high level of involvement from temporary works designers capturing the work against existing buildings and boundaries.
