Overview
Maynooth University is conducting paleoenvironmental research as part of the ICARUS Climate Research Centre, with several ongoing projects funded by Research Ireland and the Environmental Protection Agency. This research, as well as planned future research projects, include radiocarbon dating of geological, ecological and archaeological material, to constrain the ages of the sediments being investigated. Approximately 150 samples over the next three years are expected.
