The identification and underwater remediation of voids in concrete elements, initially focused on the East Pier Additional structural repair requirements, which may be identified upon completion of further site investigations Given the complex and specialised nature of the required works, the contracting authority acknowledges that these services must be carried out by professionally accredited diving teams with demonstrable experience and capability in structural marine repair. Such capacity is presently limited within the domestic and European market. Procurement Context and Funding A limited grant has been secured for immediate use within the calendar year 2025. Accordingly, works under this contract must commence and conclude without delay to comply with grant conditions. Additional funding may be secured in subsequent years (estimated horizon of three years), however, future allocations remain subject to availability and are not guaranteed at this time. Contractual Considerations Interested economic operators must be capable of: Immediate mobilisation and execution of works upon award Remaining available for subsequent call-offs as and when further funding is confirmed At present, the full scope of works and anticipated contract value remain indeterminate due to limited survey data. Further technical documentation shall be issued as it becomes available and in line with confirmed funding tranches. The Tender Procedure will be Open Procedure (OJEU) Article 32(5) of Directive 2014/24/EU (Public Sector Directive) Contract with Options. The intention is to award an initial contract of approximately €250,000 followed by optional contracts for the next 3 years subject to availability of funding and other necessary approvals. Wicklow County Council reserve the rights not to award any further contracts after the initial contract at their discretion
