Provision of Lone Worker Devices and a Response Centre

Overview

The device must be robust enough to withstand normal wear and tear in an industrial environment. The device must be lightweight, portable and must include a holder to carry the device on your person, easily accessible and CE compliant. A sample device must be provided to examine these features with tender. The device must be water resistant (e.g. IP67). The device must have a minimum 50 hour plus duration of battery life in normal operational use per single charge. Easily activated SOS button to request assistance 2-way speaker communication following alarm activation GPS positioning with alert delivery over 2/3/4G The solution must be end to end and must operate independently of the Council’s own ICT infrastructure Fall/Man Down alarm functionality - activation capability (can be turned on/off) should be included. Functionality should provide for an event including falls or sudden impact. Capability for the response Centre to let the user know they are listening (discretely and otherwise). Access to a 24-hour response Centre licensed by the Private Security Authority (PSA) for dealing with alarms. Please supply one (1) proposed device with tender response document. Tenderers must provide training for Wexford County Council staff in Council Offices on award of contract. Please note tender price for devices should include the cost of training. The Tenderer will be required to provide monthly information to the Health and Safety Section at Wexford County Council Offices to discuss: Contract performance; Use of device; Training needs; Incident reviews; Invoicing details; Service satisfaction. Please note a monthly email is required outlining incidents in previous month. The Tenderer will be required to outline the lone working system administration requirements. Preference given to tenders minimizing end user administration for Wexford County Council.
