Turbomatrix System Thermal Desorber
- Published
- Published 21 August 2025
Overview
The Turbomatrix System Thermal Desorber is a thermal desorption unit that allows accurate, sensitive, and efficient quantification and identification of volatile organic compounds from air. For VOC analysis by analytical instrumentation, VOCs must be collected into adsorbent materials, either in sorbent tubes or fibres, followed by desorption. The TD unit allows desorption of VOCs from sorbent tubes for injection into the analytical systems to enable quantification of VOCs. The thermal desorption unit will be used in conjunction with an existing chromatographic/mass spectrometry instrument in the SBCS core facility.
