    Forsvarets Materiel- og Indkøbsstyrelse (FMI) har foretaget en akut anskaffelse af sigteanordninger (benævnt sigtevinger) til brug med forsvarets tunge maskingevær (TMG), primært når det anvendes i feltaffutager (FA). Anskaffelsen vurderes at være operativt nødvendigt for at sikre dansk suverænitet og kampkraft og overholde NATO’s styrkemål. Sigtevingerne anvendes til montering af sigtemidler på TMG, primært når dette anvendes i feltaffutage, og skal muliggøre anvendelse af flere sigtemidler på samme tid. To sigtemidler kan således monteres samtidig, ved siden af hinanden, på sigtevingen. Dette er ikke muligt direkte på våbenet.
