Údarás na Gaeltachta has awarded a multi-party framework for integrated design team services across two lots in County Donegal to eight consultants: AtkinsRéalis, Carr Consulting Engineers Ltd, Hall Black Douglas Architects, Langan Consulting Engineers Ltd, MacGabhann Architects, Rhatigan and Company Architects, TOBIN Consulting Engineers, and Vincent Hannon Architects. Lot 5 provides architect-led integrated design services and Lot 6 provides engineer or project manager-led integrated design services, each with teams typically comprising architectural, civil and structural engineering, building services, and quantity surveying disciplines. The framework, valued at €6 million, runs for three years with an optional one-year extension and covers design services from feasibility through statutory approvals, full design, implementation, and handover for extension, refurbishment, repair, upgrade, new build, and infrastructure projects within Gaeltacht regions.
