    Middels deze Aanbestedingsprocedure wenst de Opdrachtgever een Opdrachtnemer te contracteren die per 23 augustus 2026 het meerjarig onderhoud van de Koningstunnel zal gaan uitvoeren voor een periode van ten minste acht jaar. In 2034 is een volgende renovatie van de tunnel voorzien. In de Overeenkomst is rekening gehouden met eventueel uitstel van deze renovatie door een verlengingsoptie op te nemen waarmee de Overeenkomst tot uiterlijk 31 juli 2036 kan worden verlengd.
