Overview
HSE South West Community Disability Services are seeking a provider to work in partnership to deliver an afterschool respite service for children aged 6 - 18 years old with intellectual disability, physical and sensory disability, autism, and behaviours of concern, based in Killarney, Co. Kerry. The current required capacity is between 18 to 25 contacts per week, Monday – Friday, which will vary depending on need and user profile of individual children. Each contact refers to 1 child for 1 session, meaning from 3-5 children per day in the service for 4 hours. The successful service provider is required to work in partnership with HSE services to develop appropriate transition plans for each child. The service is required to include accessible transport and a daily hot meal.
