Forsvarsministeriets Materiel- og Indkøbsstyrelse (DALO) has procured a permanent Surface Based Air and Missile Defence (SBAMD) land capability pursuant to Article 346(1)(b) of the TFEU. The procurement has been awarded to four suppliers: Diehl Defence GmbH & Co. KG (via the European Sky Shield Initiative), Eurosam GIE (partly via OCCAR), Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace AS, and MBDA France SAS (via DGA). Contracts were selected following the evaluation of proposals based on military, strategic, and economic considerations.
