Overview

Post-Primary Languages Ireland (PPLI) is a unit, fully funded by the Department of Education, that provides expertise and support for foreign languages education in Ireland. PPLI works on a wide range of projects across primary, secondary and third level education including delivery of the Languages Connect awareness campaign. Languages Connect promotes the many personal, social, cultural and career benefits of foreign language skills. As part of the awareness campaign, PPLI facilitates the ‘Say Yes to Languages’ Module in primary schools nationwide, the TY in-school event #ThinkLanguages in secondary schools, and many more resources and promotional events throughout the year.
