Errichtung und Restplanung eines Gigabit-Netzes für Kommunen im Landkreis Karlsruhe – Cluster IV gF

The Landratsamt Karlsruhe has awarded a contract for the construction and detailed planning of a gigabit-capable fiber optic network serving municipalities in Landkreis Karlsruhe (Cluster IV). The project, valued at approximately 3.8 million EUR, was awarded on 23 May 2026 to Netze BW GmbH and simplefuture GmbH and involves expanding existing municipal fiber infrastructure to provide continuous, functional broadband connectivity to all residential and commercial buildings in designated service areas. The contractor is responsible for coordination and execution planning in close cooperation with the municipality and BLK (Breitband-Kompetenzzentrum), with construction commencing promptly following award.
