    De onderhoudstoestand van het Haagse wegennet wordt eens per twee jaar vastgesteld door middel van inspecties conform een landelijk gangbare standaardmethodiek. De uitkomsten van deze inspecties worden geregistreerd in het beheersysteem GISIB. Aan de hand van de daarin opgenomen gegevens selecteert de gemeente wegvakken waarvoor een onderhoudsmaatregel is aangewezen. De geselecteerde onderhoudsmaatregelen worden vervolgens nader beoordeeld en getoetst. Op basis daarvan worden grotere, planmatige nadere deelopdrachten geformuleerd met een omvang van meer dan 200 m². Deze nadere deelopdrachten worden in de daaropvolgende periode uitgevoerd. Bij de voorbereiding en programmering van deze werkzaamheden vindt afstemming plaats met andere interne opdrachtgevers, waaronder rioleringsbeheer. Tevens kunnen op verzoek van andere interne opdrachtgevers kleinschalige reconstructiewerkzaamheden in de nadere deelopdrachten worden meegenomen.
