Overview
The service provider will drive the Mayor to appointments and functions in Galway City and nationally, as required. The term ‘Mayor’ refers to the Mayor, the Deputy Mayor or other persons designated to travel in the Mayoral car from time to time. Hours of attendance will vary over the 7-day week, in accordance with the schedule of Mayoral engagements, and will include early morning and late-night attendance as may be required. Where feasible, journey notifications will be provided at least five (5) days in advance with exceptions that may occur due to circumstances beyond our control. The average number of event is 250 per year. This figure is given for reference only, and is neither a maximum nor minimum, as the actual number of events will depend on the Mayor’s diary.
