Request for Tender for the provision of a rapid evidence review in relation to confidence in maths among children and young people in Ireland with a particular focus on girls and young women

The Department of Education and Youth is seeking a qualified contractor to deliver a rapid evidence review examining confidence in mathematics among children and young people in Ireland, with a particular focus on girls and young women. The scope encompasses learners from the early learning and care sector through primary and post-primary education, assessing self-belief, mathematical self-efficacy, attitudes toward mathematics, and engagement across key developmental and educational transition points. The contract has an estimated value of €80,000, with proposals due by 5 November 2026.
