The provision of Service Providing Access to Long Term Power Price Forecasts [624]

The Commission for Regulation of Utilities has awarded a contract worth €150,000 on 30 April 2026 for the provision of independent long-term forward power price forecasts for SEM, Great Britain, and France through to 2050 on a quarterly basis, including technology-specific prices and access to historical projections. The service will support the CRU's workstreams including Public Service Obligation Levy, Directed Contracts, and Imperfection Charges calculations, as well as serve as a quality assurance tool by providing independent third-party comparisons to CRU's internally modelled output prices.
