Connection of Townawilly Group Water Scheme Co-Operative Society to the Public Water Supply

Donegal County Council awarded a contract on 30 June 2026 worth €883,522 for works to connect the Townawilly Group Water Scheme to the public water supply operated by Uisce Éireann. The scope includes design and construction of an interconnector water main, decommissioning of the Townawilly Water Treatment Plant, construction of new watermain connections, a new booster pump station at Glencoagh Storage Reservoir, and upgrades to the Eddrim Glebe pump station to improve water quality, regulatory compliance, and network reliability across the region.
