Overview
Tenderers will be required provide maintenance service for an initial period of five years with option to extend on three (3) occasions for twenty-four (24) months. Dublin Port’s infrastructure supports dynamic and growing maritime trade, with an internal road network extending approximately 8 to10 km. As Ireland’s primary seaport, Dublin Port is responsible for handling over 50 per cent of the nation’s imports and exports, in addition to significant passenger volumes through its ferry terminals. As critical national infrastructure, it is essential that the port remains fully operational in all weather conditions. To support this, the deployment of winter preparedness machinery is vital in mitigating risks associated with ice, frost, and snow, ensuring the continued safety of personnel, the smooth flow of trade, and the reliability of passenger services. To meet these operational needs, Dublin Port specifically requires the provision of a permanently mounted gritter. This equipment will ensure consistent and reliable winter treatment of the internal road network, reducing reliance on temporary or manual measures, and guaranteeing that critical transport routes within the port always remain safe and accessible. Dublin Port Company require the supply of the following items: • Permanently Mounted Gritting Truck • Mini Tow Behind Gritter • Plough Plate for existing vehicle
