Provision of a GIS Specialist in the Office of Public Works

Request for Tender for the Provision of GIS Specialist. The principal duties of the GIS Specialist will involve: • Population of the Coastal Defence Asset Database being developed by the Survey and Coastal Monitoring Section. The population requires the identification of natural and engineered coastal assets, digitisation of the assets and the input of a number of attributes. OPW has developed an i-house database and user interface for the data input. • Other GIS-related tasks required by the Survey and Coastal Monitoring Section.
