Overview

The Office of the Revenue Commissioners is establishing a two-year Panel of Experts from 2025 to 2027 to provide advice on whether specific activities qualify as Research and Development under sections 766, 766A, 766C and 766D of the Taxes Consolidation Act 1997, and whether they qualify for Knowledge Development Box relief under Chapter 5 Part 29 of the same act. Individual applications are accepted on a rolling basis until 7 August 2027, with submissions made directly to rdadmin@revenue.ie rather than through the etenders portal.
