Overview

Marine Institute request the supply, delivery, Installation, Commissioning and Calibration of a high precision benchtop salinometer with a three-year service contract. This salinometer will primarily be used for the precise and accurate measurement of salinity of bottle collected samples. This salinometer will be used to analyse samples for salinity in sea and estuarine water and should be capable of performing well at sea on board Marine Institute research vessels. The salinometer will be permanently installed onboard Marine Institute research vessels and therefore portability is not essential.
