Overview
The Contract involves the provision of archaeological consultancy services required to assess and mitigate the archaeological impacts of construction of the c.5.2km long N5 Tulsk to Rathcroghan Active Travel Project. The archaeological services required are to be delivered on-site and off-site by the Consultant in accordance with the Services Requirements document and to the satisfaction of the relevant statutory authorities. It is anticipated that the following archaeological consultancy services will be required: Stage (i) test excavation including hand excavation, reporting and liaison with the project archaeologist and the design team. The project is covered by the provisions of the Code of Practice for Archaeology agreed between Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) and the Minister of Arts, Heritage, regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs (2017).
