• Receipt and Processing of Bulky Waste - North Area

  South Lanarkshire Council has a requirement for a suitably qualified provider for the provision of the Receipt, Treatment and Processing of Bulky Waste throughout South Lanarkshire. The proposed contract is a renewal of previous procurement arrangements. The Council have identified the Scotland Excel Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the Treatment and Disposal of Recyclable and Residual Waste (no. 27/17)where a contract is awarded via Mini Competition. The Mini Competition contained two geographical sub-lots as detailed below to ensure that the travelling distances and times to/from the reprocessors’ facilities are maintained to a minimum and also ensuring the resources, i.e. vehicles and manpower, are maximised, therefore achieving cost effectiveness for the Council at all times. Lot 11 - Receipt, Treatment and Processing of Bulky Waste 11.1 – Call Off Contract for Bulky Waste (North Area) 11.2 – Call Off Contract for Bulky Waste (South Area) The Council reserve the right to appoint one or more contractors under each Mini Competition based on each geographical sub-lot.

The proposed contract is a renewal of previous procurement arrangements. The Council have identified the Scotland Excel Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the Treatment and Disposal of Recyclable and Residual Waste (no. 27/17) where a contract is awarded via Mini Competition.
