Overview

The Scottish Government has awarded OCF Limited a two-year support contract valued at £18,536.22 for maintenance and technical support of its existing Marine Scotland High Performance Computing cluster, comprising Lenovo ThinkSystem servers installed in 2020. The HPC cluster is used by Marine Directorate for hydrodynamic modelling, particle tracking simulations, disease spread modelling, machine learning applications including salmon scale image analysis, and other marine science and visualisation work.
