Bath & North East Somerset Council is seeking to appoint a contractor-led team to assess buildability, logistics, and conduct surveys for replacement options of the Pulteney Radial Gate on the river Avon in Bath. The scope includes reviewing existing project information, executing intrusive surveys, evaluating site constraints, and providing comparative appraisal of six options (ranging from hydro-station to do-minimum approaches) with advice on construction, programme, cost, risk, and CDM matters. The engagement will produce detailed technical and commercial appraisal reports to support the Outline Business Case at Stage 2, with no commitment to progress beyond this assessment phase.
