Overview

The Food Standards Agency has awarded a 24-month contract to Catalytic AI for £199,325 to conduct research and development on the PATH-SAFE Genomic Data Platform across technical, governance, and strategy workstreams. The project will create an evidence base to inform platform design, reduce technical uncertainty, and advance the platform towards operational deployment for foodborne pathogen surveillance and antimicrobial resistance response. The work will also establish cross-government collaboration between the FSA, UKHSA, APHA and partners to strengthen national capability and resilience.
