Overview

The Met Office is seeking a communications solution supplier to provide modems and SIM cards for approximately 300 automatic weather stations across the UK and overseas. The supplier must enable real-time data transfer every minute from these stations to the Met Office's cloud-based system, supporting both 4G and 2G connectivity with varying power availability ranging from mains power to 50W solar panels.
