Overview

The National Police Air Service (NPAS), acting through West Yorkshire Combined Authority, is procuring design, de-modification, and installation services for new Aircraft Communication Systems across its rotary and fixed wing aircraft fleet. The scope includes removal of existing TETRA radio equipment, installation of Government Furnished Equipment to support the Emergency Services Mobile Communication Programme and future Emergency Services Network requirements, and associated testing and certification, covering 11 rotary wing and 4 fixed wing aircraft across two separate lots. The contract is anticipated to run from 1 July 2027 to 31 December 2029 with a possible 12-month extension.
