This specification is for fabrication of mechanical pipe fittings, which has been issued to provide a universal series of requirements to procure mechanical fittings for both clean water and wastewater contracts. It will provide a fast and efficient fabrication service for mechanical fittings whose outside diameters may fall outside British Standard sizes. The service shall be required to be available 24 hours per day, 365 days per annum.
